The Opening Ceremony for Ukrainian Language and Literature Department
Turkey's first Ukrainian Language and Literature Department was opened at Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters. The opening ceremony held on March 27, at 10.00 am was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych, the Minister of National Education Ismet Yılmaz, the Chairman of the Council of Higher Education. Dr. Yekta Saraç, Istanbul Governor Vasip Şahin, Rector of Istanbul University Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak, Dean of the Faculty of Letters Dr. Hayati Develi and invited guests.
