Rıdvan Çelikel Archeology Museum has now opened its gates to visitors.
The museum, which was established within the Department of Archeology of the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University and prepared by the academicians who are experts in their fields, introduces the known cultures of Anatolia from Paleolithic Age to Ancient Age. The museum, where ethnographic works are exhibited, sheds light on the development process of the history of civilization.
The works include the oldest stone tools, pottery, jewelery, figurines, metal axes known as the Luristan Bronzes, and a collection of tiles.
